Before you arrive please ensure that you know the answers to the following questions.

  • Name the organisation that governs 4 wheel motorsport in the UK?
  • What sort of Motorsport Licence do you require if you only intend to co-drive?
  • As a minimum what personal protective equipment do you need?
  • What is the name of your local Motor Club?

It’s a good idea to read as much as you can about Co-driving, the link below will take you to an excellent website that will give you an insight into the Co-drivers lot!

Some of the content in this document is now out of date, for example the Motor Sports Association is now Motorsport UK, it’s probably best to ignore any specific regulations that are quoted, however, it will give you a good flavour of what to expect.

It is important that you take enough time to complete and understand the pre-course learning material before the course.
