Jul 2023 • Family Amazing time at Ladies Rally Day!! Highly recommend. Had an incredible time. Great instructors, with really clear, pressure free, tuition. Everyone made great progress throughout the day and were really encouraging of one another. We had a lot of seat time, which made all the difference (unlike a lot of other rally schools). Really well organised day, utilising the time well. Great value for money. Really enjoyed the rally stage and high speed passenger ride too! I would recommend getting the in car camera for the day. It’s really easy to download all of your videos to your phone afterwards.

Ladies Day – what a great experience
Jul 2023 Ladies Day on 15 July was an amazing 5* experience - I loved it!! I've wanted to try rally experience for ages but thought I might feel overwhelmed if I turned up and it was all men, so I was so happy to book for the Ladies Day. From the welcome, through the health & safety briefing, expert tuition, driving, John and his team were knowledgable, thoughtful, caring and encouraging - I never felt pressured. All of us had lots of driving time. In car camera is well worth paying for. Thank you PPRS for a brilliant day.

Nov 2022 • Solo • A really fabulous Day! My husband was one of nine on the full day intensive rally course and had a huge amount of time in the cars on the practice circuit, out on the hill course, on his own & with the instructors. Also a competition speed drive which was an incredible experience. The staff were professional friendly, enthusiastic knowledgeable and encouraging all day. We cannot recommend this rally school enough - and hope to return very soon.

What a blast!
Nov 2022 What a great experience! From the moment my son and I arrived we knew we were in safe and experienced company. Introductory briefings and inspirational video clips set the tone for the day which was immediately hands on as we put new theory into practice on the circuit. Confidence built throughout the day ( the hours flew by ) and culminated in driving and being driven ( somewhat more quickly ) in the powerful Subaru WRX . This is a must do event for all motoring enthusiasts- great circuit, great cars, great instruction- will be back soon!

The driving instructors are all friendly and very informative. If you’ve never had a car sideways before you will here. The Best Day!
Nov 2022 My son (in his twenties) drove, I spectated - we both had a fabulous day with excellent tuition and a brilliant full-on drive with John in the afternoon. We had a fun group of other drivers from various backgrounds and all learned lots - everyone saw incredible improvement in skills over the day. My son said after that it was possibly "the best day of his life" and would go back like a shot.

Jan 2023 John and the team (James, Tim, Kim & Elwyn) were fantastic hosts and everybody had a terrific day. Regardless of ability, everybody improved their driving skills and the instructors are superb (& patient!) The hot lap around the main course with James was off the scale!

Feb 2023 It was an awesome day with amazing instructors. I can’t believe the amount of drivetime that you get throughout the day with continuous ongoing training. Absolutely amazing day! The only problem for me now is that I may be a addicted to the adrenaline rush?!!! LOL

It’s absolutely fantastic
There's a reason this is booked up so far in advance (although there is a postponements shortlist).... it's absolutely fantastic! I went with my two sons having booked pre-covid. Travelled night before and there's some great localish places to stay over (B&B The Old Vicarage, eat at The Stag at Titley) ready for 9.00am start. That's a briefing first and then out to their "practice paddock", a kind of loop of eight, with marked with tyres. Unlike other places which run a "taste" of rallying, this is the real deal. In total we were in a group of 8, novices to improvers, with three cars on the go, so very little standing around. Just enough in actual fact. John and his friendly crew guide and demonstrate, but you'll have many laps on your own in the cars... rear-wheel drive Subarus. Meantime there is a full on, short rally stage... jumps, scary drops, hairpins and a straight where (I think) Tomi Makinen holds the record speed (130mph). You'll go on a recce lap in a hot 4WD Subaru, then drive yourself with an instructor and there in NO holding back! If that doesn't scare you enough then John took us on a demo run driven by himself and that is a whole new level! We had the time of our lives! I wanted to add criticism to balance the review, so here it is. On the safety briefing, John should have warned us that if we grinned all day, we might get stuck like that. The day after and we're still grinning! Thank you to your whole brilliant team.

exceptional day out
A really well organised day where you are encouraged to go as fast and as often as you can! . In total over 40 laps. After a 20 minute briefing explaining the basics of rally driving, drifting to be honest, you are off. First laps on your own and then with an instructor. Thereafter the morning continues and you choose whether or not to have the instructor with you. After a brief lunch more laps: meanwhile you have a self drive round the proper rally stage with dual controls and a passenger rally stage - wow. Finally a fastest lap competition. If learning to reallly (you can remove the 'e' if you want) drive is your goal then look no further. Been going there since 2003 and it never disappoints. OK I could shove loads of superlatives in this bt let's be straight it is a tough act to beat.Cars are great,staff make you feel like you have known them for years (that bit might a little more relevant). They bring out the best in your own driving, no one size fits all approach. For me it is driving as fast as I can and they let me. If you need to bond with 8-10 of your buddy's then this is the thing. Also Knighton is a great town to stay overnight in to reduce the strain of driving there and back in one hit. All in all cannot get enough.

Fast passenger ride – What a RUSH !!!
We treated our son to a Rally experience for his 25th and of course dad (me) went along too as we are both petrol heads. He had a blast. I have visited several rally courses and experiences before so I had to do the fast passenger ride with John Caine. I was completely blown away, WHAT A RUSH. Absolutely THE BEST rally experience ever. To see John in action, pushing the car hard, practically floating over the gravel, maintaining complete control at high speed was a real treat. Thank you John and the rest of the team at Phil Price Rally School, it was well organised, brilliantly delivered and a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Stag party with a difference
Wow.. you keep hearing the real deal? This driving experience is outstanding! A real thrill.. maximum time on track, instructors that treat you like novices or pro depending on your skill set.. this was an experience that will stay with me for a long time.. driving was exciting and fun and my skills were definitely better at the end of the day, the ride in the WRC Subaru was something else! Wow what an experience! Drifting across a mountain gravel stage with a professional driver at the controls was near breathtaking.. On behalf of us all i would just like to thank all the instructors for a cracking day on track sharing your experience to make us all better drivers, brilliant rally experience.
